Por más de 20 horas, el pueblo puneño ayer disfrutó de la parada de veneración que se realizó en homenaje a la patrona de Puno, la Virgen Candelaria, actividad en la que participaron miles de danzarines, que llegaron de diferentes partes de la región y el Perú.

Los primeros en iniciar la parada de veneración fueron los conjuntos invitados de “Wititi” que es una de las expresiones culturales más conocidas en el Valle del Colca región Arequipa.

Seguidamente la danza costumbrista Los Negritos y Pulis de San Cristóbal Calacoa – Moquegua partieron rumbo santuario de la Virgen de la Candelaria para rendirle homenaje.

Pese a que a esta hora de la mañana la población todavía empezaba a ubicarse en el recorrido de la parada, ambas danzas fueron bien recibidas, durante todo el recorrido de la parada.

“Es una experiencia muy hermosa la que hemos vivido, estamos agradecidos por cómo la gente no ha aplaudido, bailamos con tanta emoción que llegamos a llorar por la virgen” dijo, Aldo Paúl Tejada Castro danzarín de Wititi.

En este conjunto también estuvo presente la gobernadora regional de Arequipa, Yamila Osorio Delgado, quien luego de bailar estuvo unos minutos en el estado principal, junto a otras autoridades de Puno.

Veneración. Luego de los conjuntos invitados, continuaron con su presentación los danzarines de Sikuris, Morenadas y Caporales.

Como era de esperarse, los integrantes de la Asociación Folclórica Virgen de la Candelaria, iniciaron su recorrido cerca de la 10:00 horas y durante todo el recorrido se ganaron el aplauso del público.

Sus numerosos danzarines, atrajeron la atención de los turistas que no dudaban en tomarse fotos y bailar por unos minutos.

Precipitaciones. Cerca de las 16:00 horas una torrencial lluvia empezó a caer en la ciudad de Puno, debido a ello la imagen de la Virgen Candelaria fue ingresada al templo San Juan para evitar que la lluvia la dañe.

Mientras tanto, frente a este santuario hacía su paso la agrupación número 29 “kullawuada del barrio Porteño”, quienes continuaron danzando pese a la torrencial lluvia que los sorprendió.

“Vinimos a bailar por la virgencita, para nosotros la lluvia es una bendición, continuaremos danzando hasta el final de la veneración”, dijo uno de los danzarines de mientras hacía su paso por el estrado principal.

Producto de la fuerte lluvia varias emisoras que transmitían los incidentes del recorrido, tuvieron que cortar su programación y luego de varios minutos continuaron cubriendo la parada de veneración.

Otro conjunto que tuvo que soportar la fuerte lluvia, fue Conjunto de Sikuris “Glorioso San Carlos, integrado por niños quienes no se detuvieron en ningún momento y

Religiosidad. Cuando eran las 18:00 horas la imagen de la virgen Candelaria, fue ingresada al santuario de la Virgen de la Candelaria, para protegerla de la lluvia que caía a esa hora de la tarde.

Luego de ingresar al templo San Juan de Puno, se inició con la misa de octava, allí también se cumplió bendición de las candelas (velas) actividad tradicional que cumplen los devotos de la virgen candelaria.

“Yo si creo que hay fe en el concurso, cada uno a su manera y seguro que la virgen está contenta de ello, danzar y estar alegres es una bendición de Dios”, dijo al respecto el padre Luis Zambrano.

Favoritos. Mientras tanto, a esa misma hora, los más esperados de la parada de veneración, los danzarines de la “Incomparable Gran Diablada Amigos de la PNP”, llegaron al santuario de la virgen.

Pese a que pasaron por el estrado principal en plena lluvia, no dejaron de bailar en ningún momento, por ello el público se contagia de su alegría y se animaban a danzar con ellos.

Algo que destacó de este conjunto fue que los danzarines se esmeraron en no ingerir bebidas alcohólicas durante el recorrido de la parada de veneración.

Después de ellos los danzarines continuaron bailando hasta altas horas de la noche, el público tampoco se retiró de los graderíos y continuaban acompañando a las comparsas.

Hasta el cierre de edición faltan hacer su recorrido más de 20 agrupaciones folclóricas, pero pese al frío y la lluvia ellos esperaban en el ingreso de la parada para iniciar el recorrido y así poder rendir homenaje a la mamita Candelaria.

Ganadores. Durante la parada, el gobernador regional de Puno, Juan Luque Mamani informó que los conjuntos folclóricos que se ubiquen entre los 20 primeros puestos serán premiados con regalos valorizados en 3 mil nuevos soles.
